Marine Chief Engineer Unlimited and savvy IT Engineer holding dual Master of Science diplomas with over 14 years of experience from mega yacht operation, refits, hull extension, dry-docking, FATs, sea trials, 5 year class and build phase supervision (both as owners representative and class society). Holding all valid certificates, EU residence and B1/B2 VISA. Ready to relocate and start new job immediately.

Responsible for establishing Scope of Work and planning 15-year special survey shipyard in MB92 Barcelona.

 

Responsible for planning and execution of extensive 6-month shipyard refit split between two shipyards: LMC Safe Harbor Fort Lauderdale and Safe Harbor Rybovich West Palm Beach including budgeting, drawing approval, negotiating SOW and change orders, sourcing and supervising contractors, supervising safe execution of works, witnessing HATs and commissioning, signing SLAs.

 

Day to day operation, maintenance and supervision of whole engineering department (team of 4 engineers), ordering spare parts and consumables, maintaining log book and planned maintenance system entries (IDEA and Pinpoint Works), taking charge of watches, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of tenders, water sport toys, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and electronic equipment such as Marioff Hi-Fog, CAT 3512 main engines and C9 generators, HUG burners, Magnus power converters, Hamann Black Water Treatment, Idromar RO watermakers, water softeners and sterilizers, Heinen and Hopman HVAC, Quantum stabilizers, Alfa Laval purifier.

 

Responsible for operation of all AV/IT related equipment on board (Cisco, Starlink Maritime, VSAT, TVRO, Kaleidescape, Crestron, Lutron, Kerio, VMware).

Keeping engineering watches, supervising engineering personnel, maintaining log book, pinpoint works and planned maintenance system (IDEA) entries, maintenance and repairs of all electrical, mechanical and electronic equipment such as Marioff Hi-fog, CAT 3516 main engines, CAT C9 and C18 generators, Hug Burners, Alfa Laval purifiers, Kaeser air compressors, Hamman Black Water Treatment, RO watermakers, water softeners and sterilizers, H&H air conditioning system, Quantum stabilizers, Alukwa and Reisinger doors, tenders and water toys (Volvo Penta, Steyer, Yanmar, Rotax, Sea-doo). 

 

Responsible for day to day operation, maintenance and remote supervision of all IT related systems such as: CCTV (Milestone, Axis, Sony), TVRO, VSAT (Starlink, Seatel, MTN, OmniAccess), VoIP telephony (Cisco), GSM, 4G/5G (Pepwave, Meridian), VPN, virtual machines (VMware ESXi 6 and 7), Wi-Fi, Kerio, backup and replication (Veeam, Acronis, Synology NAS), programming repeaters and UHF Radios (ICom, Motorola), entertainment systems (Crestron, DMmatrix, Kodi, Kaleidescape, Soundweb, Apple TV, Chromecast, Sky, DirecTV, Technomate, Jetstream, Plexus TV, Plex), home automation (XXter, KNX, Somfy), bridge equipment (NMEA, Furuno, ECDIS), update services (WSUS), Active Directory. Proficient with Windows Server, Unix, Android and iOS based systems.

 

Solely responsible for creating cybersecurity policies and procedures, disaster recovery plan, incident response, mapping all devices and penetration tests.
